Luxury Timepiece is an insteresting app for the iPhone that does two things very well: It shows you how much additional information the developers can gather from the iPhone itself and it takes money out of your pocket. This app simply simulates an old wrist watch on the screen of your iPhone and nothing else.
When you load up the app you're greated with a regular watch that is currently not set. After giving it a few seconds, it will actually adjust to the proper time and date that you iPhone is set for and continue to display the correct time as long as the app is open and active. The watch doesn't have any options let you fine tune anything else though, so this is all you'll see.
If you tap the screen, you'll be able to see a quick run down of what each part of the watch is doing: counting the minutes, seconds, angle of the iPhone is being tilted, date, and even the inner workings of this fake watch. The words are written out in yellow, making them awful to read. But that's all the really is to this app when it's all said and done.
For a paid app, this isn't worth buying unless you happen to have the perfect sized wrist strap for your iPhone and the desire to keep it from entering sleep mode 24/7. The watch doesn't even look that sharp, nor can you swap out what the watch looks like either. Basically this is just a waste of money that shows you the concept of exactly what else the developers can grab from the iPhone.
