Mardo's Music Trivia is a music trivia app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app is really straight forward and moderately disappointing as the name makes it sound a lot cooler than it is. You're essentially answering music related trivia in the most bland way possible.
You might have assumed that this game actually plays music related to the questions or perhaps has samples of music that you have to identify. If you assumed this, then you've horribly overestimated this apps value.
Instead, you'll be answering questions while a random melody plays in the background.
Each question is timed, so be prepared to answer those short questions before the 20 seconds runs up. As you get more and more of them right, your rank will increase and you'll continue to answer more questions until you get bored with the game.
The idea of a music trivia app that plays arbitrary music while simply presenting trivia questions on a solid background is kind of boring, especially on the iPhone. Granted, with limitations it's not like it can access your music or anything, but the built in music is really a let down. If you like answering music related trivia, then this isn't an awful app for you to check out, but definitely start with the light version.
