Magazines are becoming more popular on the iPad now that the general public is starting to acquire them. We’ve seen some pretty awesome ideas for how digital magazines can work and this one is a great example. Guys, bear with me as the magazine itself is not on my top ten list, but the design itself works amazing well.

Martha Stewart Living brings all the awesomeness of cooking and decoration to your iPad. The magazine offers a few different ways to browse through. You can flick to the side to read it just like an iBook or you can tap the bottom to enable the scroll bar and breeze threw the content. Almost every page offers something interactive whether it be a video or a simple image swap. You can actually interact with the magazine in a way not possible in actual print.

Overall, the Martha Stewart Living magazine is a great example of excellent iPad magazine design. It may not be the most enjoyable content for me, but I definitely can appreciate good design. Check it out if you like this sort of thing.
