Mega Man II is regarded by many fans as the best game in the series. It features all the classic Mega Man bosses and some notoriously difficult levels to beat. The game has finally been brought over to the iPhone and it is just as much fun as it was back in the day. Finally we can all enjoy fighting the crazy Dr. Wily with our small, cyborg boy dressed in blue. The game utilizes the virtual joystick combination that we have all grown accustomed to. The controls weren't the best implementation I have seen for an iPhone app but they worked well enough. The app can be set to play in either landscape or portrait mode.

The game ran smoothly the entire time I played and there were no hiccups to complain about. Since this game is a port, there aren't updated graphics or gameplay, it is the same game that it was on the other systems years ago.

There really isn't much more to say about the app. It's offered for a great price in the app store and there is a free version if you are still wary to buy it. The game is a wonderful trip to the past and if you enjoyed platform games, this is one of the classics. Check it out.
