We?ve seen a lot of trivia games make their way on to the iPhone and iPod Touch but we haven?t seen anything like Movie Challenge. It?s hard to fully explain how great this game is considering how hit or miss other trivia games are, but we?ll give it a try.

The game offers three well balanced levels of difficulty for you to play through. Once you select which one you want to attempt, you?ll be brought to the main game screen. There are 20 categories per game for you to battle your way through. Some will be repeats, but that won?t really matter. In each category there seems to be at least six different subcategories of questions that you may get to choose from. You may have noticed that a lot of the icons are greyed out and they?re like that for a reason. Basically, one of the power-ups you have in this game is the ability to shake your device and randomize what options you can choose from. You can only do this a few times so keep that in mind before you start shaking like crazy.

Instead of trying to explain the different categories and subcategories that this game offers, let?s stick with the fact that it offers quite a few different ones for you to play through. You can clear each category by answering two out of the three available subcategories correctly. Once you do that, you?ll open up more categories to pick from. There are plenty of powerups to help you if you get stumped as well. Besides being able to shake for new answers you can also use a Take 1 or a Take 2 assist to cut out some of your choices or you can extend your time by 5 or 10 seconds.

As you gain more points you?ll also receive more power ups to help you through the game. The goal is to get the highest score and complete all the categories in the game. If you answer too many wrong questions you?ll very quickly wind up with a game over. With plenty of statistics for you to monitor your success and even compete on a global level with the leader board, this game is something that you will definitely enjoy for a long time.
