My Contacts Everywhere is an app that is attempting to solve a somewhat large problem. The iPhone doesn't have the greatest battery life as we are all aware of. So a large problem comes when your phone's battery dies and you are left with no numbers to make that very important call. No-one memorizes numbers anymore and if you do, you are a better man then me.
My Contacts Everywhere solves this dilemma by providing a service. Users can upload their contacts to the server and then access them online or right from another iPhone using the same app. The connection process requires that a user have a Facebook account. Once you have logged in using your Facebook account, you can then upload your contacts which take under 30 seconds to complete.
After finishing, any iPhone you log into your account in the app will sync your contacts and give you those desperately needed numbers and emails.
Now for my complaints. The app requires that users have a Facebook account which could be annoying for someone who doesn't want to be on Facebook. There is no other way to use the app. Also, the app used to be free which is what attracted AppVee to what it had to offer but now the developers are charging a price and that means paying money every time you need to install it on another phone. The online site that users can access via PC also seems to not be working and will not let me sign in to retrieve my contacts.
So overall, the concept is a decent one and there are times I could see myself needing an app like this. But the fact that someone will need to pay for this app when I need to access my contacts just ruins the concept for me. I personally would rather wait for a free alternative.
