NBA Hotshot for the iPhone was actually a pretty good game. Made by the same team who brought the popular game Skeeball to the iPhone, the app used the same flick to win method of gameplay.
Now the game has been brought to the iPad in attempt to re-inspire players to play the game on the larger screen. The object of the game is very simple. The player needs to flick the balls so they go into the basket for points. The game is attempting to mimic the popular arcade game which uses the same principles. There are only two modes to choose from in the app: Classic Play and 3 Strikes. The classic play mode is essentially the copy of the arcade version. The game counts down from 40 seconds and the player needs to score as many baskets as possible.
The 3 Strikes mode is also pretty simple, the player only has 3 misses before it is game over. Though the game is now available in a larger, easier format, I still have an issue suggesting it is something worth grabbing. If you already own the iPhone version of the game, this game is redundant and costs an extra dollar for the exact same experience. If this is the first time you will be playing it, it may be worth it. Check it out.
