Most of you reading this review are old enough to remember computer games like 3D Mini Golf. Neverputt ME is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that does an excellent job of capturing the feel of that type of game and making it into an App. Neverputt, also known as Neverball, has a significant online following and community for the computer version of the game already.
The graphics in this game are simple 3D graphics. There aren't any crazy dinosaurs or anything in this game, so you won't be seeing elaborate course props. You will, however, see some really creative holes due to the fact that most of the over 100 holes loaded with this app come directly from the Neverball community. The 100 holes spread out over 7 courses to give each one a little bit of a different feel.
The game is really easy to play. All you have to do is use your finger to determine which way you want to face. Then move your finger forwards or backwards to determine how much intensity you want behind you putt. You'll be able to tell how intense it is by the trail behind the ball. When you've finished setting the intensity, press the putt button in the top right to hit the ball.
This game offers play for up to four players, so if you're not playing this on your lunch break you can definitely share it with your friends. It's really easy to pick up and play for a few minutes then put it down until you have more time. With such a low price, you really can't go wrong.
