Night Camera is an interesting camera app for the iPhone. This app allows you to take a little better quality picture on your phone at night once your hands are stable. The app utilizes the accelerometer in an attempt to tell when you're stable to help you capture the best picture possible.
The app has a very simple interface that we've all seen before. It's basically the regular Camera app interface but you don't actually have to use it. If you hold the iPhone perfectly still for three seconds, it will automatically take a picture and show you the results. It doesn't actually save the picture until you press the save button, so there's no worry about that.
There does seem to be some low light filter of sort that picks up more of what's going on. The image stabalization idea through the use of the accelerometer actually helps you clear up quite a bit when you use this app. This isn't a miracle app that can take amazing pictures in the dark, but it is pretty hand for those low light situations that always wind up so blurry.
It's unfortunate that an app like this is standalone. If these features were added in to an app like Camerabag, it would be amazing. If you take a lot of low light pictures with your iPhone, grab this app. Otherwise, you can pass on this one.
