NOVA is finally here. After months of constant hype from different journalists and rumors of an actual full-fledged shooter for the iPhone, Gameloft has finally released their mammoth shooter into the wild and let me tell you, it is awesome.

Anyone who is familiar with Microsoft's Halo series will immediately see the crazy resemblances. This game was obviously created with it in mind. The game features an immersive single player campaign for players to fight through as well as a multiplayer that can be played both locally and online against up to 4 other players. The controls are handled like many shooters that have come out already.

One joystick for moving, swipe on the screen to look, and tap the shoot button to shoot. Some of the controls did get a little dodgy like when I picked up a sniper rifle, it became a little to sensitive. Other than the control issue, the game is near perfect. It has great graphics, sound, controls, and really fun gameplay. This game is definitely the premiere shooter for the iPhone and any FPS fan would be crazy not to grab it. Gameloft has once again proven there ability to churn out worthwhile games for a decent price. Check it out.
