The app store is known for it's amazing selection of apps available. Most apps are not even worth taking a look at but every now and then an app shows up that challenges our expectations and offers a new way to interact with media using our devices. Pluto Pluto is one of those apps.
It's a unique take on the way we interact with and create music. The concept is not the easiest to understand by being told. The best way is to experience it for yourself. Basically, the app has up to three different bubbles. Each bubble produces a sound when it collides with walls or each other. By putting the balls into motion, a rhythm can be produced. Users have the ability to control how much the app will attempt to create a true rhythm from the chaos.
Overall, the app isn't as much a game or useful app as it is a unique demo of a new way to create music. It comes with 3 different sound environments to choose from which gives the user much more of a choice and offers a small amount more of replayability. But the app won't keep most people entertained for long. If you like experiencing fun ways to manipulate rhythms this app is totally for you, but the medium price range may make it an app to put on hold until the price drops. Check it out.
