When the first piano app came out for the iPhone I was geeked. The thought of making music on my phone was just too much to handle. The experience turned out to be less exciting than I thought, but now that excitement has been revamped with Pocket Piano HD released for the iPad. Now, instead of a small screen trying to handle full performances, you have a ton more real estate to show off your skills with music.
The app only offers the piano but is truly a ridiculously awesome app for being free. It is highly customizable down to the size of the keys and sharps individually. Users can choose to have either two rows or one depending on their preference. The app was pretty responsive with a semi-realistic sounding piano.
It’s nothing special but for the price, you can’t really beat it. There are plenty of options and it provides an excellent excuse to rock out on your iPad. If you are looking for a way to play piano on your iPad, this app is a no-brainer. Check it out.
