SUMMARY: Contact the Presidents Administration with this app.

President is a political contact viewer for the iPhone and iPod Touch. With this application you can view information about the President's administration officials.

After opening the app, you will be taken to a contact list that highly resembles the interface of the default contacts app on your device. On the bottom toolbar you can view the officials under the executive branch, the presidential cabinet, or the presidential staff.

Under each tab, you can sort by name or by office by tapping the toggle. Tapping on a contact will allow you to view their personal information. The personal information given by this application includes their address, phone number, official website, recent news, and a brief biography about that person. Tapping the address will open the default Google Maps application on your device, and tapping a phone number will call the contact on the iPhone.

Under the "More" tab, you can view other information such as new members or those under the legislation branch. You can also tap the "Edit" option in the upper right hand corner to rearrange the main toolbar to better suit your needs.

This app may only show political contact information, but it does it in the most "iPhone" way possible. The interface has been perfected and polished to be presented as if it were a default application that came with your device. There are only two small complaints that I had while reviewing this application. One is that there is no confirmation when tapping a phone number, it simply starts dialing. As this is the way the default contacts application works, this is more of a fault that I have than fault with the developers; Though it would certainly help if there were a confirmation dialogue so that I don't accidentally call politicians randomly (in my case, Vice-President Joe Biden). The other complaint that I have is that most of the options under the "More" tab will redirect you to a non-iPhone optimized web-page. Once again, this is out of the developers control, as they do not own the websites and cannot change the styling for them.

If you are a politician, or someone who contacts the President's administration often, then this app is for you. However, if you simply need to contact a politician as a one time thing, then their contact information is available for free via the Internet.
