Entertainment » Pull Lists Review

Pull Lists is a comic book reader for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app allows you to download your comics directly to your device in the most widely used formats for this form of media.
The app does require a desktop client to be useful. Pull Lists is still a little rough around the edges in some places, so keep that in mind before you purchase it. You can download the software from the developers website listen in iTunes and easily set it up. Once installed, drag your comics over to the client. If you wish to rename or keep your comics stored elsewhere, you may want to turn off the Copy Imported Files to Library Location in the preferences area as to avoid duplicates.
Once you?ve got your comics ready to go, you?ll need your device on the same WiFi network as your computer and the app open. Select the comics you want to export to your device, and press the export selected button. This app is capable of displaying CBR, CBZ, ZIP, and all other standard file formats. This makes everything a lot easier on your end, especially as other viewers would require you to unpack those files and save them as JPEGs.
In the app itself, you can view your comics by publisher, series, and title. Once you load up a comic, you can then double tap or pinch to zoom in, flick left or right to switch pages, and even read the comic in landscape and portrait mode. This is very handy and allows for whatever reading style you prefer. If you?re a fan of reading comic books and have been looking for a solution for on the go, this is it.
