Rafter is a physics game for the iPhone that puts a twist on the classic formulas found in other apps. We've all seen plenty of games challenging players to guide an object into a certain goal, but I believe this is the first of it's kind to let the user determine the size and shape of the objects they use. Unlike other apps of its kind, Rafter brings a whole new level of strategy to the table by let the user draw a shape that will drop straight down into the level.
The goal is to get any shape to burst the ball on the level. To do this, the player must draw either a circle or rectangle of any size at the top of the screen which will then fall down. Players need to anticipate the physics of the objects to propel, turn, or just drop them into the ball. The game was actually somewhat hard and there were plenty of times where I was stuck and could not think of what to do. It was definitely challenging to play through and with 71 levels of puzzles, you'll be playing for a while.
Overall, the game is worth the cheap price being asked. It has some fun art, interestingly challenging gameplay, and plenty of levels to chew threw. Check it out.
