Red Bull SoapBox Race is a two dimensional racing game that puts the player into the wacky designs and racing antics of the Red Bull Soapbox Races. The game will have you buidling your soapbox racecar from all sorts of different materials and then racing it down the street in attempt to get the best overall score. It starts out by offer different materials. You can choose from different bases like the beehive or the log and choose everything down to whether you want a horn on your racecar or not.

Once you have built your car, you can then take it to the street. But before you can race, there is a dancing minigame that you must perform to psych up the crowd. This was the first sign that this game was going to be less-than-appealing. After tapping my way through my little jig, I was finally able to get to the race. After choosing my acceleration, I was off and running. Along the way there are various obstacles and powerups that will help your rating with the fans or end up crashing you.

Overall, this game was a little entertaining for a bit but in the long run just didn\'t do it for me. The gameplay was a little too simple and the dancing jig before races was a little too annoying. There is a free version in the app store so check that out first before making the purchase.
