RhinoBall is an accelerometer game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that puts you in control of Rhino the hamster on his quest to find Bolt. This game was made to promote the Disney movie Bolt by capitalizing on a style of game that most people seem to love and using what appears to be a very popular character from the movie.
The game consists of three different levels that have the same objective of making it to Bolt as fast as you can. The levels are all within the city and have plenty of obstacles that you can either launch yourself over, under, or will need to avoid entirely. The trail of bonus lightning bolts seems to be the best path to follow, but don't discredit trying your own way.
To navigate through this game you'll be using the accelerometer.
Think of the play style similar to Super Monkey Ball except you can't fall off the edge. You do need to tilt your iPhone quite a bit to actually get your top speed, but once you get rolling you'll find that it's hard to maintain that speed without hitting everything that crosses your path.
For a game based around promoting a movie, this is definitely a fun time. The issue is, the movie is aimed for an audience that is just a bit too young to have an iPhone or iPod Touch. It's still hard to believe that parents will just hand over their devices to their children, but if you're one of those willing to do so or just really like the movie Bolt, definitely check this game out.
