Samurai Way of The Warrior is a hack\'n\'slash game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Aside from having a beautiful art style that really compliments the type of game and culture that it is portraying, this game is a beautiful work of art as far as gameplay mechanics are concerned. There are no virtual buttons that control movement or actions.
Instead, all the gameplay is handled my swiping your finger in different directions to execute various combinations. As you progress through the game, you will encounter different levels of enemies with it usually ending in a duel against a boss fighter. The games controls are sure to be a large focus as they are radically different from most action games on the iPhone. They work great and definitely make for a unique game, but there may be some issues as the controls don\'t always seem to register when you swipe. But the game itself is a wonderfully made one.
Other complaints that I could find were that the sound effects of the enemies yelling got annoying after a while and that the game definitely grew a little mundane after playing. But anyone familiar with hack\'n\'slash games knows that the whole experience is a mundane one. It is all about just hacking away through a lot of enemies. This one has some more strategy than your average game and is definitely worth the price. With the great art style and unique control scheme, this app could keep you busy for a while hacking through your enemies. Check it out
