Scene It has become an easily recognizable name in the board game industry because of its creative use of the DVD player. Now the company that brought the popular board game into existence has released the iPhone version of there popular game. The app offers two different modes to play through. There is the normal game which basically is like a single player Scene It and has players guessing words or movies based off of clues or footage shown.

The other mode is the Movie Pass mode which is essentially a complex game of hot potato. Each player must find the correct answer to the question before the timer runs out. Each time the timer runs out while a player is holding the device, that player is out of the game.

Overall, as a game that asks questions about movies, I found that there weren't enough to justify purchasing the app. The game will last about 20 times before you will find repeating questions pretty much rendering the app useless. Still, for the price it is going for, it may be worth it to have some fun while it lasts. There is a free version in the app store as well so check that out before laying down any cash. The game is fun, but a little too short in my opinion.
