EA has managed to create one of the most visually stunning board games for the iPhone so far. When the game loads up, the intro animation looks like the same quality that other iPhone games have used through video for an intro. But when you tap the screen, you'll realize that it's all within the app itself.
Besides how amazing it looks, the game runs very smooth and is really enjoyable. You can play one or two players to make things more interesting and convince you to keep this game on your iPhone for a long time.
Everything does look zoomed out at first, but when you drag the tiles into place it zooms in to the specific area you've placed it.
If you're awful at spelling or simply stumped, you can press just one button and watch as the game places the best possible combination on to the board. You can only do this so many times in each game, so make sure to save them up for when you're completely stumped.
The computer opponent can be very difficult to beat, especially for those of you who don't excel at any sort of word game. But it can really be enjoyable to just sit back and play a game of Scrabble. Hopefully we'll see a lot of games take a page out of EA's book when it comes to building better looking games.
