If any of you have ever played the party game Boggle, Scramble is bringing the same concept you know and love to your iPhone or iPod Touch. Implementing many features we've come to expect on these devices, Scramble does an excellent job providing a similar experience with all the perks of touch. Created by Zynga, users can create or login to their account and get right in the action. There are 3 different modes of play: Solo, Pass, or Online. Getting right into the game, the object is to find words among the mess. Each word found earns the player points. Words can be selected by simply dragging your finger along the path or by tapping letters. Perhaps one of the more unique features of this app is that it allows for accelerometer play. By tilting the device in a direction, a new perspective can be reached offering a greater chance of finding words.



Online play runs smooth with over 50 players being in any given session. Good luck nabbing a top spot as I'm finding there are some word wizards out there. Overall, this game brings the fast-paced excitement of a Boggle to your device and the best part is, its free. The interface works wonderfully and the gameplay continues on until your mind can't handle the pressure anymore. It is definitely worth trying out and works great to relieve some stress or fill some time.
