Shaking Web is an app that makes reading while you move around that much easier. This app uses the accelerometer to determine how it should react to make your reading experience while moving that much better.
Every movement you make while using this app is picked up by the accelerometer. To compensate for that movement, the app will move the viewable content in the opposite direction. By default this only works for vertical movement, but if you flip the turbo switch to on, it will also handle the horizontal movement.
This applies to how you?re holding the phone, so if you?re holding your phone in landscape mode with turbo off, it will only adjust up and down.
Unfortunately the app is missing some major features that cause it to be more of a novelty than an actual usable browser. You can?t turn the shaking off completely, which means regardless of how little you?re moving you?ll still see the screen shake. There also is no way to bookmark the sites you?ve been to, stop a page from loading, or auto-fill the address bar.
If you have trouble reading on the train or in a car and would like another solution, definitely check out Shaking Web. It honestly doesn?t add enough to the iPhone to be worth it for everyone at the price they?re asking, but it will be beneficial enough for some.
