It seems that ever since the arcade racing game Mario Kart came out for the N64 and showed gamers how to have fun throwing shells at each other, we are seeing nonstop releases of similar kart games that try to stick their own characters into the mario racing formula with their own weapons and powerups. This time it is the Shrek characters from the land of Far Far Away.

All the gang joins up from Shrek 3 such as Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots and more to race and throw pumpkins at each other. The game play pretty smooth and had some decent graphics. But the overall gameplay was a bit slow and sluggish making the race feel more like a putz around the track. There is multiplayer added into the game but it is only via wifi and bluetooth so players can't play online against each other. There are different modes of play like the racing mode and the battle mode to choose from which gives the game a little bit of variety.

Overall, the game was decently fun to play but the slow speed of the karts and the lack of any multiplayer makes this app a little too expensive to purchase. I would recommend passing on this one.
