Sketchbook falls short of all the other drawing apps out there by coming out of the gate half made and still trying to charge. There isn't much you can do with this app and even the projected upgrades don't seem to be interesting enough to merit spending the $0.99 for it.
When you load up the app, all you'll see is some white lined paper. There are no menus or toolbars in the app. Nothing to double tap in the corner to pull up any configuration settings or whatnot, so give up on trying to find them. All you can do in this app is draw black lines.
Once you've filled up the screen with your drawing, the only way to save your image is to take a screenshot through the iPhone itself. Press the home button and power button at the same time to save the image and then view it from your photo album. Don't worry about getting any of the interface in your screen shot, cause there isn't one. After that, shake the iPhone to clear the entire screen and start all over again.
If this app launched day one of the App Store, it would have probably sold a lot better than it will now. There are so many better drawing apps for the iPhone that offer numerous options that Sketchbook doesn't even plan to launch in their next update. This is definitely an app you can pass on, so don't bother wasting your time.
