Skippy Lite is a remake of the classic game Peg Solitaire for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game is very simple and chances are you?ve played it before at least once in your life. The object of the game is to jump one ball over another on the specific board you?re playing on to eliminate that ball. At the end of the game, your goal is to only have one ball left and have done so in the shortest amount of time possible.
Skippy Lite has attempted to make the game a little bit more complex by offering up to six different boards for you to play on. These boards make the game a little bit more interesting considering that they provide a whole new layout. That means that while the background is different, it?s a completely different puzzle for you to experience.
Skippy Lite isn?t an easy game, but at the same time it isn?t addicting either. This is the type of game you would pick up and play at the doctors office when they actually have the physical wooden board for you to use. Even with the extra boards, this game doesn?t add enough to convince you to keep this app on your iPhone or even purchase it in the first place.
While some may enjoy simple games, Skippy Lite may be too simple for the iPhone. Granted, it does take advantage of the touch screen and isn?t expensive, but there are so many other $0.99 apps out there that offer a much richer experience and a more unique style of game play that will convince you to keep them on your iPhone.
