Smack Boxing is a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that offers a cartoony boxing experience. The developers claim in their description that this game is similar to the classic NES game Punch Out, but that is stretching the truth quite a bit there.
In this game, you move your boxer around by tilting your device from left to right. Tapping on the respective sides of the screen will result in you throwing a basic punch. If you slide your thumbs inward you?ll throw a hook and up will throw an uppercut. If for some reason you actually feel the need to block, you can press both of your thumbs down on the screen at the same time.
When playing this game, I managed to beat all five boxers that this game has to offer within the first round. All you have to do is slide right in front of them while you?re throwing an uppercut and simply avoid them while you?re not. There?s no reason to do anything else and you?ll find that you?ve beaten the entire game in a series of minutes. Don?t get excited about those three extra question marks either as the game currently only have five boxers for you to fight.
Besides being a boxing game, this game has no similarities to Punch Out. There?s no story, no coach, no skill required, and it?s definitely not enjoyable. In fact, this game was so easy that you can actually see all of the opponents being beaten in a full round during our video review of this app. Even if this app was free, avoid it until they have a chance to finish making the game.
