Smart Dial is a phone and contact app replacement for the iPhone that allows you to do quite a bit more. Unlike other app replacements, this one is very speedy and allows you to do everything you can with both core apps and more.
The coolest part about this app revolves around the Keypad screen.  This is where you can manually dial in a number, search for a contact, or activate a speed dial number. The Keypad is really the center of the entire app considering that you can start typing out a contacts first name on the keypad and the result will show up top. You can also configure a speed dial for each of the keys by going into the settings area and setting everything up that way.
The app monitors your out going calls and even allows you to browse your contacts list very easily. When you load up most contact list apps, at least for the first time, you?ll have to wait while it syncs with your contacts. This app manages to keep your contacts synced every time you load up the app without any delay what so ever. The only thing keeping this app for being a total Phone app replacement is that the iPhone SDK won?t allow them to show you voicemail or missed calls.
Smart Dial is a hard app to show off without revealing the phone numbers of every person in my personal phone book.
