Star Trigon is a very interesting game developed by Namco Networks America. Namco is known for it's cartooney and Japanese styled games, so Star Trigon definitely fits in with their usual line-up. The game puts you in control of one of three characters who proceed to run around planets and create trigons between them to save space creatures.
If you're already confused, it's ok. Everyone else is too. The game requires you to basically launch yourself from planet to planet with some sort of line attached to your back. That line will become permanent when you hit another planet and will become a trigon when you make a solid closed object. Any creatures caught in the trigon are then rescued.
But considering your character is constantly running around the planet, launching to another planet can be difficult. You may find yourself shot deep into space. Or worse yet, you could find out that the line you absolutely need to run is actually on a blocked path which won't let you set it. The game does become more difficult and more interesting every level.
There are plenty of power-ups to keep you on your toes, but after awhile the repetitive Japanese style video game music does get on your nerves. The game looks beautiful, but is very bright and colorful, often confusing you if you're just getting into the game. It's a steep price, but if you like cartoony games, check this one out.
