Star Walk is an astronomy app for the iphone and ipod touch. This app is
amazing. If you've ever had any curiosity about the stars, planets or
systems or would just like to have a guide while you stare into the sky
at night, this is the app for you. The app is very straight forward
with controls that are extremely well-designed for the device. Every
option of Star Walk is easy to navigate and flows smoothly with the
interface. When you first start it up, you are presented with the
universe at your fingertips. This is a very intimidating thing for
those who do not claim to be amateur astronomers. But luckily, this app
is all about exploring and finding what you want. For those who are not
into scanning the universe for some distant star, Star Walk offers a
search option for finding exactly what information you need. Just
search the constellation, star, or anything within the solar system to
find exactly what you are looking for and Star Walk will center the
universe around it. By tapping the info button in the top left, users
can learn more about the topic selected. If Earth's moon is selected,
users can see its current phase as well as go forward in time to see
what it will be in the future. Overall, this app has so much
possibility and it is hard to cover it in one review. For casual users,
this app is great for finding your favorite star or constellation when
you are camping. For more advanced astronomers, this is an excellent
reference tool for your studies and a great way to find quick
information with a very aesthetic interface. I would recommend it for
