Steppin is a very interesting game for the iphone and ipod touch. It's not similar to anything I've personally seen in the app store and really shocked me when I tried it out. The idea of the game is to "step" with your fingers as fast as possible from one platform to the other without missing until you reach the end. It sounds pretty simple and is, but this game is all about perfection and speed. By tapping and dragging the screen along, you must continue tapping the platforms in a race against time.

With some excellent art and very satisfying sounds, this game kept me coming back over and over again to try to beat my last score and secure a spot in the world's best for that map.There are 5 different environments to pick from that really offer their own style of play. Your score is tallied by how many you have hit, how many time you have missed, and the speed in which you finish. Each miss counts against your score and takes precious seconds away from your final ranking. While you are playing, it is possible to start over quickly by shaking the device which will allow you to strive for perfection.

For those of you who love competition and something that will take practice and amazing dexterity, Steppin is definitely an app for you. With it's online competition, lighting fast load times, and extremely smooth gameplay, Steppin is definitely a step in the right direction for iphone games.
