Sticky Licky is a simple game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. In this game you must eat flies to gain points and complete levels.
When you first open this app, you will have the option to play a game, view the high scores, view the instructions, or change your settings. Tapping on the instructions is the first step I always recommend, as far more detail is covered by the makers of the game.
Tapping the "play game" option will start the game. In this game, you play as a frog's head, capturing all of the flies with your tongue while avoiding dangers such as bees or mosquitoes. Tilting your device will move the head, and tapping the frog will lash out its tongue. You begin to lose health if you don't eat, consume a bee or allow a mosquito to bite you. Eating different things have different effects; eating a bee will stun you, eating a firefly will make it easier to see on nighttime levels, or eating a dragonfly will allow you to become invincible for a short period of time. From the "Achievements" option, you can view your personal high score, or the high scores from others online.
This game is pretty fun, though I personally found it slightly boring. The artwork is beautiful, as if it was hand drawn. The controls are easy to learn and are simple enough that playing this game with one hand is possible. The only thing that this app could really improve upon is the interactivity. As of now, it is fairly boring with your only option being to tilt and tap. I recommend this app to those who enjoy simple games or for those who love the style that this app is presented in.
