Stone of Destiny is a story driven Eye Spy for the iPhone. Your character is following close to a mystery that will bring him around the world to solve. Each place you need to stop at on your journey home is one more Eye Spy puzzle to solve.
The story plays through in a comic book fashion and is fairly compelling. Considering many games have managed to impress an audience without even having a defined story, this games story adds a lot of depth to the overall experience. Each stage brings with it a ton of new items for you to find while keeping things interesting enough for you to consider playing it through again.
When you load up a level, you'll be presented with an environment covered in random objects. Not all of these objects are on your list.
What makes it more difficult is not all of the objects are actual items. Some are drawings on the wall, making it much more of a challenge then you would think. If you ever get stuck just hit your clue icon on the right hand side.
Stone of Destiny is definitely enjoyable and fairly deep for an iPhone app. The story is really a great element that we haven't seen enough of in iPhone games. It almost separates it out from being just another cell phone game. Hopefully we'll see more games of this caliber on the iPhone. Just preferably not Eye Spy style.
