Street Fighter IV was most recently released for the iPhone. The game first appeared in arcades and consoles proving that the fighter genre hadn't lost it's touch. It wowed gamers with some awesome graphics and a refined control scheme.

The iPhone version is attempting to match the success of its big brother by offering a full-scale fighting experience complete with special moves, tournament play, and a decent roster of the signature characters found in the series. The game is handled solely by the onscreen buttons and joystick which will immediately turn off hardcore players. It's not as responsive as a controller, naturally, but the gameplay was still smooth. There are a few different modes to play through in the game. As a solo player, you can join a tournament against all the computer players, do some free sparring against a computer, enter the dojo to learn new techniques, or enter the training room to practice. There is also a versus mode which is only available via bluetooth. The character list is not as long as the actual game with only 8 characters available to use.

Overall the game was pretty fun to play and went smooth for the most part. It is by far the best fighting game on the iPhone but it will definitely not live up to some of the expectations hardcore players are putting on it. It rings in at a very high price but I would argue it's worth every penny. Check it out.
