Twitter has always been a fairly popular form of social networking. It's clearly more popular in some niches then it is in others. So as a marketing tool, it can be really useful to see where certain trends pop up in a social networking environment. Summizer allows you to easily search through all of Twitter and find out where that term pops up and in what messages.
The app is very simple, but it doesn't really need to be complex. The main screen allows you to search through twitter, view the top trends, or save a trend to your favorites for future viewing. When you search, you can even put the words in quotes if there are more then one. If you don't it will simply pull up Tweets that happen to have both words in it.
You can really find a lot of information with this app. The only downside is the fact that you can't click on any of the links or the usernames in the information that is pulled up. If only it would allow you to then follow those specific people through whichever Twitter client you use, this app would be perfect.
Summizer allows you to do a lot of research on Twitter directly from your iPhone. It's very handy when trying to see how popular a term has become when you're on the go, but it's limitations do make it a bit bothersome. It's definitely useful for anyone interested in browsing the world of Twitter or looking for results from a marketing standpoint. It just could be better.
