SuperPoke Pets is a virtual pet game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game is not a complicated one by any means. In fact, for a sim, it doesn't even seem to have any consequences for mistreating the animal you've selected to take care of. When the game starts, you'll be able to select from one of three different virtual pets to take care of. The options for these pets are a Penguin, Sheep, or Panda. There doesn't seem to be any benefit or disadvantage for choosing one character over the other, so make sure to choose the one you'd like to stare at the most. After you've selected your character, the game immediately starts. There really isn't much to worry about considering your pet won't leave you nor will it die. There are five options for you to choose from at the bottom of the screen.
They are: Food, Clean, Tickle, Prop, and Scenery. Food allows you to pick an arbitrary meal for your pet. Clean and Tickle just need to be tapped to create the desired effect. Prop and Scenery on the other hand can be purchased and changed as you continue to play. Making contact with your pet in any way seems to earn you five gold pieces. You can use these pieces to buy more props and scenery. If you leave the game for a while, you'll come back to your pet crying about something. Give it what it wants and then tickle it until you can buy that nice new backdrop. For a virtual pet game, SuperPoke is definitely a weak and not even remotely a captivating experience.
