Aah High School. Birthplace of all your lifelong insecurities and some of the craziest memories you will ever have, aside from college. Just when I thought I would never have to revisit that strange and awkward time again, EA decides to put out Surviving High School. Essentially, the game is a choose-your-own-adventure and a collection different minigames to go along with it. The game follows the story of a guy and his journey through his high school career as a football player.
It only follows a guy so girls are pretty much out of luck unless it has always been your dream to play as a guy on a football team.
The game plays out in many different ways with you needing to get good grades by taking quizzes and doing homework as well as making the right social decisions to score a girlfriend or become homecoming king. But the main focus of this particular episode is making the football team and guiding them through to become state champions. The entire game is made up of different episodes with a new episode being released every week or so. Players can grab the episode early for a price or just wait until it is released. It looks like the game will be evolving as new content comes out so definitely keep an eye on it.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I definitely recommend grabbing it if you like choose-your-own-adventures. Now if only I could get those stupid cheerleaders to think I'm cool.
