Tap Tap Revenge 2 is such a fun game, I love it almost as much as I loved the first one. One thing I wish for is the music from the old game and being able to switch between the old Tap Tap skin and the new one, because the new futuristic type skin hurts the eyes after a while. Overall great game. Tapulous made another hit and its free!

Tap Tap Revenge 2 is clearly a great successor to the ever popular Tap Tap Revenge. Now utilizing multitouch in a new way, it keeps up with the beat and rhythm of the actual song. You know feel like you are actually playing the song more than you were in Tap Tap Revenge 1. A new interface that addressed many of the problems with it's predecessor allows you to have more visual feedback on whether you hit the correct notes or not. With hundreds of songs to choose from, there is little chance that you will be bored with this app. I do have a few problems however. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a 5/5 on control is the shake. I can most certainly get the "shake up" notes, but more often than not, I completely miss the "shake left" or "shake right" notes. I had the same problem with Tap Tap Revenge 1, but I simply turned off the shake feature. I cannot do the same with this version. Another issue I have is the downloading. It would be nice if the App could download while you were playing a song instead of having to sit there and wait. I don't know if this is because they didn't implement it, or if the processor on the iPhone cannot handle those tasks at the same time. I also have a problem with playing more than 2 songs after another. If I try to play a 3rd song, the app crashes and I'm returned to the home screen. This may be an issue only with my device, but it certainly is annoying to deal with that.

This game is awesome, and I've discovered some artists that I enjoy while playing. Tapulous continues to bring their excellent quality to this Free game. For the two of you who don't have this app, download it today. For the rest of us, keep rocking on.
