Taxi is a simple app that makes things so much easier for you to get a taxi. The app isn't complex at all and doesn't require any real skill to use it. All you need to do is let it locate you and make a phone call. Then you're hopefully good to go.

When you start Taxi up, it will ask you if it can locate you. Once it's located you it will populate its list with all of the taxi services that are in your area. Tapping on any of these services will instantly exit the app and start calling you.

At the bottom of the app is a pretty handy little bit of information: the street/intersection that you're at. This can be very useful when you're looking for a cab and you're not exactly sure where you are or how to explain where you are. While you probably won't be using this app when you're out in the city and can hail a cab, it does have its benefits.

People who need cabs constantly tend to already have them in their phone book. If you travel a lot and aren't at a hotel that will call you a cab, then this app is ideal for you. It's simple, straight forward, and very easy to use.
