The Creeps! Is another tower defense game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game offers a scary children?s cartoon style and an interesting way to control one of the four weapons they offer.
The Creeps! Offers 10 different levels for you to play through over two different environment types. The maps are pretty small but that doesn?t make the game easier. The maps are also littered with objects that you?ll have to destroy or you?ll find yourself limited with where you can place your towers. This is part interesting part frustrating as it?s near impossible to take out an object without letting a wave go through.
There is one difference in this tower defense game when compared to all the others out there: the UFO. This method of attack costs 1,000 points and allows you to create a tower that launches an accelerometer controlled UFO. This unit is very powerful but has a really long recharge time so it?s best to save it for the bosses. Unfortunately, while cool, it?s not enough to save the game.
The Creeps! feels like the perfect introduction into the world of Tower Defense games due to how easy it is to master and the childlike nature of it. If you?re looking to break into the world of tower defense games and would like to try something simple, The Creeps! is perfect for that.
