Toy Bot Diaries puts you in the shoes of a little 50 cent toy that's got higher ambitions then simply being won by some snot nosed brat. You'll need to use all the powers at your disposal and a little bit of help from the accelerometer to make your way through mechanical puzzle after puzzle.
The game is played horizontally and all movement is completely done through the tilting of the iPhone to get your little toy to start moving left or right. You do have the ability to send you an electric grappling hook to other metal objects by touching them. If you continue to touch the spot, you'll also be pulled up to it. Tapping that spot again will drop you like a load of bricks.
Puzzles include you having to attach yourself (with magnetic boots!) to the ceiling and pull quarters into different slots. Or you could have to fit between different moving gears without getting stuck. The game can be enjoyable once you get the hang of it, but the learning curve does require some patience.
Toy Bot Diaries is a really interesting game with decent graphics and controls. The concept makes it a lot of fun, plus having the ability to grapple and stick to walls is enjoyable as well. You basically play as a chubby metallic Spiderman with magnetic shoes. If you enjoy sitting down and really playing iPhone games, you should check this out.
