Tubey is a very interested mashup of services for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It allows a user to take photos from there library on there device, or on an iPhone right from the camera and put them together in a video complete with music and transition effects. The real gold in this app though, is the videos upload directly to YouTube via the users YouTube account. This means that a user could be taking pictures of a vacation, want to share it in a unique way and in under ten minutes, put together a video that gets uploaded right to YouTube to be viewed by family and friends.
The app worked exactly as expected, with a surprising amount of background music to choose from and an extremely easy interface.
The process is really straight forward and I didn't once run into issues. The final video goes up onto YouTube with a Tubey bumper video and then proceeds onto the user's chosen title slide. Image quality, Image Duration, music and transition effects can be chosen, making Tubey an extremely versatile slide show application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
There are more features coming soon to this app, or by the time some of you have watched this has already been added, such as direct upload to Facebook and the ability to choose your own music as background music.
