TurkeyHunt is a touch based arcade style game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. In this game, your objective is to hunt those wonderful little birds that we call Thanksgiving dinner. Apparently, while they put hunt in the title, the developers forgot to include any form of gun in this game.
This game is pretty simple and not exactly the most enjoyable game that we?ve had a chance to review. Basically, you?re given a level, and by level we mean a new nature landscape picture, and a gaggle of turkeys frolic onto the screen. Your objective is to tap them as fast as possible before time runs out. The timer carries over from level to level, offering you a bonus of additional time depending on how well you do.
Unfortunately the game name is fairly misleading. There is no real reason to assume you?re actually hunting in this game. In fact, it should just be called Turkey Tap, considering that?s all you?re actually doing. There is no sign of guns or ammo in this game, so you?ll just have to use your imagination.
This is a really simple game with floating still images as graphics. There?s nothing that captivating about it or really entertaining either. It?s just another gimmicky game that takes advantage of an upcoming holiday.
