Twitter offers a ridiculous amount of information, status updates and links to news and entertainment only a couple of clicks away. But one thing twitter has never been very proficient at is sharing photos. The service isn't set up to share and receive photos which leaves a gap for other apps to fill. TweetPhoto is a service for the iPhone and iPod Touch which has only one goal in mind: To share photos.
The app is actually set up very simply. It has tabs for sharing and managing your own photos and also allows you to view public and popular photos uploaded by other users using the service. The app is obviously still in it's infancy as there are a ton of features and integration elements that have yet to be implemented.
Still, the service offers an easy way to manage your twitter photos. But there is more than just twitter involved. The service can also connect with your Foursquare and Facebook accounts.
There isn't much more to the app after uploading. You can comment on other user photos and rate them with a thumbs up or down. Overall, the app was a little too simple for my taste, but users looking for a barebones app might just like it. Check it out.
