There are so many different twitter clients out there for the iPhone and iPod Touch that it's hard to pick one over the other. Many of them don't bring enough to the table, making them easy to rule out when choosing a client. Tweetsville is one of the few that actually does.

Tweetsville offers up a lot of great features and customization. First off, the entire bottom bar can be rotated around to your liking. Your options for tabs to set on that bar are Timeline, Messages, Replies, Trends, Search, Favorites, History, and Settings. Each page that contains messages also allows you to see 200 messages which is definitely a big help if you follow a lot of people.

This app makes it really easy to find out more information that's relevant right when you want it. There's a built in trends and search area that allow you to find the most recent information being discussed, but having the ability to view a users profile, including who they follow and who follows them, allows you to do just about everything you could want to do on Twitter directly from this app. Add in the fact that you can actually write in bold or italic by using asterisks and underscores and you've got a pretty solid app overall.

This app was made by Tapulous, the same people who brought you Twinkle, and is aimed more towards power users than those looking to connect on a local level. This app is very similar in functionality to Twitterlator Pro, except that it doesn't allow you to have multiple accounts. Where Tweetsville beats out Twitterlator Pro is in how easy you can navigate the app without running into any issues. If you use Twitter a lot, this is definitely a great app to have on your iPhone.
