One of the first apps we had a chance to review at AppVee.com was Twinkle. This easy to use Twitter client for the iPhone allows you to not only fully handle your Twitter account, but also offers access to a range of people using Twinkle in your area. The original app was a must have, and this update only makes it better.

The update add a lot of excellent features to Twinkle. First off, you can now select the username that your friends have replied to so you can read the original message. This keeps you from being in the dark if you happened to miss a conversation. You can also block and report users who are abusing Twinkle. In less than 24 hours since the update went live, many obnoxious Twinkle users had their accounts suspended.

They have also made it possible for you to re-tweet messages that caught your interest, visit links directly through the app, and even insert tinyurls. Unfortunately, the only way to get to the browser is from an existing link, so you won?t be adding your own information unless you can navigate from another link to the site you wanted to tweet about.

Other enhancements include the ability to view any attached picture right in Twinkle. You can also save pictures you?ve attached or that others have attached right to your iPhone.
