Twittelator Pro is a Twitter app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. While there are many different Twitter apps out there already, Twittelator Pro comes across as the power users Twitter app. Twittelator Pro offers everything you?ve come to expect from a Twitter app and have already seen before, but they?ve included a significant  amount of extra features that make it a must have app.
One of the first things you?ll notice is that you can actually have as many Twitter accounts active under Twittelator Pro as you would like. This is a pretty neat feature for those of you who operate multiple accounts for your different sites. Plus, switching between accounts is very easy. Twittelator Pro has also included their own Twitter search, similar to Summizer, making this a very useful tool for adding new friends and monitoring trends.
While there are tons of features that Twittelator Pro offers, the big ones are the ability to copy a tweet by holding your finger on it, being able to paste that tweet, the auto conversion of long URLs to short URLs just by hitting send, and the ability to interface with Safari. If you?re browsing the web and see something you want to tweet about, simply add ?twit://? before the URL in Safari and it will automatically launch Twittelator Pro with that URL pasted in. This feature alone can make the app worthwhile for most Twitter users.
There?s a lot of competition and we?ve been big fans of Twinkle for some time, but the fact that Twittelator Pro also shows a local area and offers so many features with it, we?ve found ourselves switching back and forth quite a bit. There?s a lite version available so definitely try it out before you take the plunge but all iPhone users should have either Twittelator Pro or Twinkle on their device.
