Virus is a strategy game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. In this game, your goal is to trap the viruses in the patients blood stream with the allotted number of white blood cells you have at your disposal. This game is definitely interesting and feels like a more sci-fi and advanced version of the classic game Jezzball.
When you load up your first game, you'll be greeted with a really sharp looking introduction to what virus you'll be fighting and where it's located. There are several different types of viruses and each one changes up how you'll play the game a little bit. Once you've seen where you need to go, the game zaps you inside the person?s body and it's now your job to take care of the viruses.
To play the game, what you need to do is hold your finger on the screen to build up a white blood cell. These do have maximum sizes and will automatically break off at that point, but chances are you won't get many of them to that size. In most situations you'll get hit by the virus and lose your white blood cell completely. Considering you only have a set number of these to fill the screen with in order to beat the level, you'll have to be careful.
The game makes full use of the accelerometer as well. The white blood cells will begin to stack, making it much more difficult to place another one. To fix this issue, turn your iPhone to shake them lose and make some extra room. Virus is a surprisingly enjoyable game with really great sound effects and excellent graphics. Definitely check this puzzle game out.
