?But you already have a weather app!? is the most common response you'll hear whenever you load up or mention this application. While you can waste your time responding, it's much easier to just let them watch you use it. The WeatherBug app for the iPhone is leagues ahead of the Weather app that comes standard.Instead of having to load up a webpage in Safari to see more information then is currently on the app, the WeatherBug app provides you with the temperature (including the highs and lows), total inches of rain for the day, wind speed, heat index, humidity, and dew point all on the main page. you can then see more detailed information with a quick little write-up for the full 7-day forcast.

The app also has two other tabs, one for radar and the other for cameras. The radar tab shows you a modified Google Maps view with Doppler overlay, giving you that weatherman (or women) like feel. It's really interesting to look at, as you can actually see the path that a storm is coming in. The camera mode supposedly shows pictures of the area you are zoomed in on, but unfortunately it is not available in every location.
If you could actually delete the regular Weather App and replace it with the WeatherBug app then life would be much simpler. But, for now, you'll have to settle with burying your Weather App on the last page of your iPhone, as the WeatherBug app is all you'll need from now on.

I prefer this version to the standard weather app for the iPhone. The web cams is great and I find myself using it quite often. Since I travel quite often it is great to get a feel for what is going on.

Yes, it's free, and it's pretty nice.  But temperatures are only given in Fahrenheit and which countries still use Fahrenheit?  The US, Myanmar, one or two others.
I live in Hong Kong.  No weather radar given for here.  The "Cameras" feature gives me three web cams in New York.  And on a day when there was a Signal 8 typhoon warning here (which basically equates to "get your butt back home before you die"), it showed no active warnings for here.
I was a bit generous with my ratings because it's free.
