Westward is real-time strategy game for the iphone and ipod touch. This
game is sweet. It has a very polished look to it and it is very obvious
it's creators put a lot of effort into it. It's based off the pc
version of the game so anyone familiar with that will be right at home.
You will be assuming the role of various westward bound settlers as you
build up a community and watch your economy flourish. The game
offers some of the best depth in an iphone game that I've seen, and it
really brings a lot to the table in terms of content. There are 4
different locations to explore with over 20 levels total. This game
will last you a while.

It features an easy-to-learn control set that
serves it's purpose well, not distracting too much from gameplay. If
you've ever played a real time strategy game before, this game will
come very naturally to you. It is definitely slower-paced and is more
about completing tasks than it is micro-managing. But the amount of detail and story put into
this game from the original, really serves to put it as a high quality
game for the iphone. At the time of this review, the price for Westward
was set at 2.99. This is an amazing price for a game with as much
content as this one has. I can't find any reason, aside from the game
style not fitting your interests, to not try this game. Check it out,
it will definitely be worth your time.
