Where To? Is a location finding app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app relies heavily on the Maps app but offers a lot of features that make it worth using to save you some time.

Considering this app is based on location, it?s going to ask to locate you. Once it does, you?re ready to start selecting what you?re looking for through the wheel. This wheel offers up eleven different categories to find something in. Inside each category, you?ll have tons of options for specific types of locations.

There?s also a surprise me button if you?re just looking for something new in that category completely.

This app isn?t meant to help you find specific places, it?s more mean to show you what types of places are in a specific area. After you select the category and type of location you?re looking for, you?ll need to select where you want to look. Your options are around your current location, where you have the Maps app currently open to, a location from your contact book, or manually enter in a location. After you select where, the Where To? will launch the Maps app and show pins for all the different locations of that type in the area.

This is definitely a handy app that makes it easier to find new places or different types of places. While you could always open the Maps app, go to a location, and enter in the keyword that they use as well, you?ll probably have trouble remembering all the keywords they use. If you?ve ever wanted an easier way to explore with the Maps app, Where To? is it!
